Justin Lim is a creative based in Hong Kong and wider Asia, who decided to go a step further with his photography in a bid to make the professional photography scene more accessible.

Having already worked in the photography field for a decade, in 2014 he decided to refresh his photography business and founded the concept of The Kandid, a communal creative hub in Hong Kong. Soon thereafter, he was featured by Instagram as a "Suggested User".

Justin's work has been exhibited in places as far away as Europe and Australia, and published in various fine art periodicals. His work has reached news portals such as BBC and The Guardian. Justin recently completed a stint as guest editor of 500px.com - the world's most progressive and dynamic photography platform, and has been a regular part of the Flickr furniture for well over 10 years. He is currently also a shareholder of Stocksy United, a leading international stock photography portal.

In 2016, Justin appeared on Austria's Next Top Model as a fashion photographer and social media consultant. He was featured by Emirates Airlines' in-flight magazine as their "Entrepreneur of the Month". He authored the article "Making Friends and Influencing People" for a recent edition of the British Chamber's magazine in Hong Kong.

Justin has given seminars on content and Instagram strategy at Garage Society and The Kandid's own spaces. He has acted as a student mentor to aspiring photographers at both GSIS and American International School.
