The Kandid manages collaborative social spaces that provide creative services to businesses, especially start-ups and entrepreneurs.
We've staged events such as parties, pop-ups, photoshoots in-house workshops and other social gatherings, right here in the heart of Hong Kong.
We also provide packages such as portraiture, product styling and social media consultancy, through Justin Lim, our founder and principal photographer. Justin regularly offers consultation to world-famous brands on issues of visual identity, social media presence and photography. Justin is also often consulted as one of Hong Kong's most prominent #flatlay stylists on Instagram.
The original space, now renamed The Kandid Soho, is a small workshop venue located in Sheung Wan, which can be rented as a venue for private parties and workshops of up to 15 people. In 2015, this space was featured by both Home Journal and Lifestyle Asia. In 2016, a full article in Emirates' In-flight Magazine "Open Skies" was dedicated to the space.
Brands which have chosen The Kandid Soho as a venue for shoots include Bottega Veneta and MR PORTER.
Our newest space, The Kandid Social is a dedicated blank space for pop-ups and private events with a larger floor area. It also serves as a commercial photography studio and is scheduled to open in the summer of 2016.
